The 25th Year of the Mini – a gathering at Silverstone circuit in 2000.
An event that Cooper brought Blue Thunder to. Also when SJ and Cooper thought it would be a fun idea to try the Bungy Ball ride… a large metal sphere held in place and pinged into the stratosphere by knicker elastic as Cooper would later comment.
The thing spun so much as I stood taking pics, a few future participants comment “Nope!” and walked away.
There were also a lot of brilliant Mini’s there too, btw!
